Now in its 5th year, this popular monthly (every 2nd Monday of the month) comedy show features the best of Bay Area comedians and beyond.

The June 10th Comedy Returns to El Rio! show, The Obligatory June Gay Comedy Night (because it's June, and it's the law), features: Karinda Dobbins (Nickelodeon's NickMom Night Out), Bob McIntyre (25+ year restaurant worker), Bobby Golden (young Gay Persian American comic), Maggie Dolan (returning to the stage), and hostess Lisa Geduldig.

KARINDA DOBBINS hails from the Motor City (Detroit) and now lives in the Bay Area. Her humor is sharp, distinctive and infused with hilarious social commentary. To date, she has appeared at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival; featured at Bay Area comedy clubs such as Tommy T's, the Punch Line and Cobb's; and headlined at San Francisco's legendary Purple Onion. Karinda has opened for W. Kamau Bell, and she recently made her national TV debut on NickMom Night Out, a series of stand up comedy showcases on Nickelodeon.

BOB MCINTYRE was born a coal miner's daughter in a cabin on a hill in Butcher Hollow. At the age of 13, he got his first job as a waiter at the local BINGO hall where he learned the skills that would carry him through an additional 25 years of various restaurant jobs in a variety of establishments that would never be referred to as "fine dining." Bob recently returned to comedy after a 5-year hiatus. His cat weighs 19 lbs: 1/5 of Bob's own weight.

BOBBY GOLDEN was born the youngest out of three Persians in Westlake Village, CA. He began performing stand up comedy at the age of 17 and has been unstoppable ever since. He has performed at all the major clubs in Los Angeles including The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, and Laugh Factory and has been featured in Palm Springs' Pulp Magazine and Santa Monica Magazine. Bobby was voted Funniest Gay Comedian of May 2009 by the Celebration Theatre in West Hollywood.

MAGGIE DOLAN is a former hand model whose career was tragically cut short in a mango slicing incident. Originally from the East Coast, she now calls San Francisco her home. Currently she writes and performs comedy throughout the Bay Area and is the author the blog titled No Inner Child Left Behind (noinnerchildleftbehind.wordpress.com).

LISA GEDULDIG is the creator, producer, & MC of a variety of annual comedy shows: Kung Pao Kosher Comedy: Jewish comedy in Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant (which just celebrated its 20th Anniversary); The George Bush Going Away Party; Funny Girlz; A Muslim, A Mormon, and A Jew Walk into A Bar; The Color of Funny; Charo...
