Tales of California: Briggs, Bryant, Homophobia and the Coming Pandemic at the SF LibraryImpact Stories is honored to be presenting a new project called Tales of California: Briggs, Bryant, Homophobia and the Coming Pandemic at the SF Library in the Koret Auditorium at 6pm on 1/24/2013. The presentation is co-sponsored by the James C. Hormel Center at the Library and CAL Humanities. The target audience for the new web based documentary project is California classrooms, high/middle school and colleges and universities. We are working with many community partners to assure a seamless distribution into our Golden States' classrooms. Short presentations will be made by Hilary Burdge, Research Project Manager at the GSA Network discussing the just released LGBT inclusive curriculum report Implementing Lessons That Matter and by Alexis Whitham, Educational Programming Manager at Frameline discussing Youth In Motion a Frameline program that donates films to schools in California.
