Free: Gertrude Stein's Tender Buttons 100th Anniversary at Main Library2014 marks the 100th anniversary of Gertrude Stein’s groundbreaking modernist classic Tender Buttons. City Lights Publishers has reissued a centennial edition of the book incorporating Stein’s own handwritten corrections. Editor Seth Perlow, poet and scholar Juliana Spahr, biographer Renate Stendhal and poet and author Michelle Tea celebrate the new edition of the book. A book sale by Reader’s Books follows the event.
