shake the quake: poems and songs for earthquake reliefshake the quake: poems and songs for earthquake relief sunday FEB 21, 2 to 5 pm Off Market Theater, 965 Mission St. (between 5th and 6th ) $10-25 *sliding scale* this is a coordinated effort to raise money for yele and partners in health in haiti, organized by students from my playwriting class at sfsu. there will be readings and performances by diane glazman, matthew keuter, graham gremore, nomy lamm (hi), evan winchester, and music by the organizer's husband's band, lucky lew (www. myspace.com/luckylew2). there will also be food and drinks. Nomy Lamm is going to play "new orleans," a song she co-wrote with marcus rogers during the week of hurricane katrina. it's about heartbreak and ghosts and george bush. proceeds go directly to yele haiti, an organization started by haitian musician wyclef jean AND partners in health, a non-profit run by hatians for 20 years, the largest public health care organization in haiti. on facebook:
