nomy lamm & THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD Featuring Mirah at live city review at coda loungenomy lamm & THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD Featuring Mirah at live city review -- hosted by felonious. monday, march 1, 9 pm, coda lounge, 1710 mission st., $7 at the door. last year i saw a show called STATELESS that i talked about a lot for a while. it was created by Dan Wolf and Tommy Shepherd, combining hip hop and vaudeville to look at cultural legacies, personal histories, and conversations between jews and blacks. so now their band, Felonious, is hosting a weekly performance revue on monday nights at the Coda Lounge. and Nomi Lamm is playing a full set. a whole hour! on march 1. that's a monday. write it down. featuring collaborations with mirah, photos by caldwell linker, singing and live looping. i haven't played a full set since homo-a-go-go, and that was only a half hour, and i'd just been in the emergency room for hives and a swollen tongue that morning. and still the show was awesome! come support me and see what i've been working on since then. Presented in partnership with The Hub of the JCCSF and Intersection for the Arts.
