Lamar returns to San Francisco with his new song cycle Negro Gothic. This collection of songs explore dismemberment, psychological and emotional abandonment and ultimately resistant in the face of overwhelming despair and hopelessness. In addition to Lamars' compositions the evening will also include music by Franz Schubert, The rolling stones, and Gershwin. Carletta Sue Kay kicks off this very special evening of music and song.
