Rescheduled: K'vetsh queer open mic at Eros

Normally first Sunday, it's 2nd Sunday this month due to 4th of July Holiday.
7:40 open mic sign-ups, 8:00 show. Open mic people are welcome to present one piece of less than five minutes, or five minutes of a longer piece.
The admission is $3 to $5.
You must be 18 or over to regard the dong throng inside Eros. Please feel free to dress in a tiny white towel for the show. Eros is located at 2051 Market St. at 14th St. in San Francisco. There are a couple little coolers with non-alcoholic beverages for sale, including Fresca.

K'vetsh queer open mic welcomes our two features Brontez Purnell and Amaryllis de Jesus Moleski! Freak out!

Brontez Purnell is a zinester, writer, dancer and musician, who now lives in California. Brontez was originally from Triana, Alabama, then moving to Huntsville, Alabama, and then to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he released Schlepp Fanzine while still living at home. He then relocated on his own to Oakland, California, where he released his next zine, Fag School. Three issues of the zine have been released to date. During this time he was in a number of punk bands. After his arrival in California, he briefly played guitar for the band Panty Raid, with Seth Bogart, and then joined the group Gravy Train!!!!, (as 'Junx'). He is also the mastermind behind the band The Younger Lovers. He has performed with the band Hot Ass Sex Bomb with members Janelle Hessig and Vice Cooler and, as well, he DJs at clubs in San Francisco. Brontez has written for various publications, including the on-line edition of Jigsaw, and has also written a column called "She's Over It" for Maximum Rock 'N' Roll

Amaryllis DeJesus Moleski is a youth activist, artist, playwright,
muralist, and spoken word performance poet who believes in the
power of communication, inspiration, hope, love, creative
expression, growth, and community (communication+unity) to
create positive change within ourselves, and the world we live in.
She has performed her poetry both locally and nationally, and is
currently working on her one woman show "Sangria Cipher". She is a graduate of the We Got Issues Institute, and is the co-founder of the B.R.E.A.T.H. Program in Albuquerque, NM that teaches poetry and performance to incarcerated youth as a means to heal, resolve conflict, and uplift. She strongly believes in the necessity for youth
empowerment both on the inside and outside of the prison system, as well as the empowerment of all people, and is committed to the movement of supporting these important voices in rising up. oh yea, and she's gay. duh.
