GuyWriters presents: Poets in Cool Limbo at MagnetMagnet 4122 18th St. San Francisco, CA GuyWriters Presents Poets in Cool Limbo featuring Michael Montlack and special guest. GuyWriters is celebrating the release of Michael Montlack's first full-length poetry collection "Cool Limbo." If you want to know what kind of collection Montlack has put together, take a look at the cover which features the title poem's sexy 70's chick lounging--stoned--by the pool (as she neglects the water-winged kids she's supposed to b...e babysitting). The book is described as the best kind of party -- unofficial, unpretentious, and unabashed. Montlack's latest collection is a series of portraits that are accessible yet complex, hilarious yet poignant, down-to-earth yet ethereal, where everything is covered, including Liz Taylor, Gertrude Stein, The Golden Girls, Orpheus, Vanity Smurf and Stevie Nicks. Montlack will be joined by several special guest writers and performers he has selected for the night: Kirk Read, Baruch Porras-Hernandez, Wonder Dave, Cole Krawitz, Richard Loranger and MC Crumbsnatcher.
