BUTCH/FEMME bawdy storytelling at The Blue MacawBUTCH/FEMME bawdy storytelling The Blue Macaw 2565 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA Storytellers include: Doors at 7, Stories at 8 Is it a mutual admiration love fest? Our fascination with the opposite? Or just raw, grab you by the panties [or tighty whiteys] toe curling LUST that cannot be intellectualized? Whether you identify as a saucy, lipstick-wearing Femme or as a suave-and-oh-so-skillful Butch, there's a story there – and Bawdy wants to hear it. We launch our 5th year of Bawdy Storytelling (the older sibling that teaches you all the good things you can't learn off Skinimax) with 6 sordid true stories of what it *really* means to flip a Butch, firsthand accounts of being a 'Femme in the streets / Butch in the sheets,' and much more. Femmes come in every gender, so kick off those fuck me pumps, coo 'Ooooh Daddy' along with us, and be at the Blue Macaw (our last Bawdy at this location!) on Wednesday, January 11th for real stories by real people, with no judgments, lots of laughter, and a communal, undying lust for gender diversity. And here's a tip: if you're not sure whether to soft or hard pack for this event, we suggest the latter. You never know who you might meet at Bawdy! Storyteller Bios: Karlyn Lotney created Fairy Butch, the popular sex educator and entertainer, during the early 1990s. Since then, he has helped an untold number of lesbians and others in the LGBT community to explore their sexuality through accurate information and humor—a powerful combination. A graduate with high honors of the UC at Berkeley, he has also completed trainings in sexuality, theatrical production and promotion, and computer technologies. Lexi Lipstick is a little girly, a lotta naughty, super kinky and a macho Femme Daddy. My oh my, perhaps you've even seen her perform at the Lusty Lady? She's a professional exhibitionist who delights in getting people to get it on. Watch out! Lexi's got a lipstick fetish & she'll mark your sweet spot with her sultry red kiss. Alix Iron is a dapper rockabilly genderqueer FTM-ish dandy intersex pouf who is feminist to the core and perverted as all get out. He's a proud pinky-extending, pompadour sporting, swagger in his stride stepping nice Jewish boy and faggy butchdyke creature. He came out into the leather kinky BDSM community in the Bay Area in 1988 and was raised up believing in the ethos of the Old Guard. He is a bottom leaning switch who's heart goes thump for fancy n foxy high femmes who have solid integrity, are extremely passionate, have a strong sense of style, who are down to earth and have firm political convictions. He thinks manners, etiquette and chivalry are super hot, as are a killer pair of heels worn by a fierce lady. He writes, teaches and holds community panels on such topics as "Queer Mommy/Boy Dynamics" and "Pansies, Dandies & Sissies: Fae Representations of Masculinity". He is the owner of the Inverted Eye (www.InvertedEye.com) – an online store offering subtly kinky vintage items and discreet fetish antiques. Miss Bethie Bee is a power fluid queer Femme kinky Leatherwoman, adult little girl, budding Mommy and Queen Bee, fetishist and occasional Dandy. She holds the titles of Ms SF Citadel and Ms SF Leather 2011. Seemingly cute and sweet, she is actually more powerful than a Class 5 hurricane. She enjoys tea, blood and people who know how to act. Bred, born, and raised in the San Francisco bay area. Rebekah Howard has worked behind the scenes for many SF venues and enjoys talking to strangers. Her contributions include Godswap, a friendly conversation/story swap about each person's journey with their god(s). She is currently developing and teaching a workshop to help with concurring approach anxiety called Pick Up Arts for Sweethearts. -------------------------------------------------
