Cello Street Quartet Gives Thanks to Magnet SF at Stage WerxSan Francisco's Cello Street Quartet, comprised of three young gay men and a wild-haired ally, arranges pop and classic rock songs and gives them a classical tinge. Known for performing their arrangements and original works for four cellos in public places throughout San Francisco, on Saturday, November 17, the four musicians will hold a concert to raise funds for Magnet SF, a program of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation that promotes the physical, mental and social well-being of gay men. Stage Werx Theater Cellists Adam Young, Gretchen Claassen, Matthew Linaman and Andres Vera make up the Cello Street Quartet. All are graduates of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
