Event Supporting Point Foundation's LGBTQ ScholarsSan Francisco Event Supporting Point Foundation's LGBTQ Scholars Meet and Hear from Recipients of Prestigious National Scholarship Thursday, May 30, 2013 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the St. Francis Yacht Club Point Foundation (Point), the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit, invites friends in the D.C. area to celebrate and help support the next generation of LGBTQ leaders. The May 30 event is an opportunity to meet Point Scholars and alumni and hear their extraordinary stories. Guests will enjoy cocktails and appetizers and breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Attendees are invited to join Point Foundation's Cornerstone Society: a philanthropic group of dedicated individuals who donate $500 to help revolutionize the face of the LGBTQ community through the impact of education.
