LGBTQ Family Day at the Contemporary Jewish MuseumIt's the 3rd Annual LGBTQ Family Day at the Museum—a day for families, friends, and allies. Enjoy games, music, and more with community partners Camp Tawonga, Congregation Sha'ar Zahav, Keshet, Our Family Coalition, and the SF LGBT Center. A special art-making activity from 12-3pm, lets you create your own family portrait inspired by the exhibition Beat Memories: The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg, or join a Museum educator at 12:30pm for a unique Family Gallery Tour of the exhibition Beyond Belief: 100 Years of the Spiritual in Art. Then, schmooze and nosh in Jessie Square at 12pm with old friends and new as you eat lunch and build participatory, outdoor nature sculptures with Bay Area environmental artist Zach Pine. Bring your own food, or pick up something tasty at Wise Sons Deli, the Museum's new café. And finally, don't miss the contemporary family parade at 1:30pm with Bay Area musical treasures the SF Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band. DATE: TIME: WHERE: INFORMATION: COST:
