It is February and if you're still entrenched in that Coach House Gifts lifestyle you are SCRAMBLING to find a Valentine! Well stop the scurrying, we are here to partner with you in a good-time self-lovin' polyamorous really-bonding-with-your-life-coach way! Now just to find the right Mylar balloons. K'vetsh, a loosely queer and wholeheartedly buffoon-ous open mic, presents another round of fabulous fart faces for February. Featuring: Erin Markey!! Erin Markey is an "outlandishly riotous" (Village Voice) Brooklyn-based playwright, actress, comedienne and performance artist. Her performance work in Tina Satter's Family was recently recognized in Time Out NY's Top Ten Plays of 2009. She and frequent collaborator Joseph Keckler were invited to the 2007 Lincoln Center Director's Lab with their play Looking For Limbo. Erin toured a portion of her musical Puppy Love: A Stripper's Tail to forty-two cities nationally with the 2008-09 Sex Worker's Art Show Tour. As a performance and cabaret artist she regularly presents original work at both Time Out NY's number one cabaret show of 2009, Our Hit Parade at Joe's Pub, Sideshow at the Ritz, another top ten Time Out NY cabaret pick, Dixon Place and Envoy Enterprises Gallery. She's shown work at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Comix, Galapagos Art Space, Ars Nova, 45 Bleecker, and at many theatres, clubs, and galleries around the country. AND! Moe Bowstern, a zine writer and performer from Bay Area genderless sibling city Portland, Oregon. Let's see if Moe knows of RAIN. Hosted by your double dildoes Kirk Read and Tara Jepsen. This Sunday, February 7th. 7:30 open mic sign-ups, 8:00 show. Always on time! Open mic people are welcome to present one piece of less than five minutes, or five minutes of a longer piece. Two pieces? No. Medleys? Check with me. BUT PROBABLY NOT. The admission is $3 to $5. We are comfortable saying that is an incredible deal. You must be 18 or over to regard the dong throng inside Eros. Please feel free to dress in a tiny white towel for the show. Eros is located at 2051 Market St. at 14th St. in San Francisco.
