more details » Introduction to LGBT Studies (8 week seminar) What: Introduction to LGBT Studies (8 week seminar) Organized chronologically, this seminar will begin with the first use of the term "homosexual" through to the study of modern LGBT, queer, and transgender movements. This interdisciplinary course examines contributions made, and disturbances effected, in the fields of history, sociology, women's studies, anthropology, philosophy, science studies, literature and the arts. This is a media rich seminar that will include audio and video materials. Taught by D.
