PETER ORNER was born in Chicago and is the author of the novel, The Second Coming of Mavala Shikongo (Little, Brown, 2006), and the story collection, Esther Stories (Houghton Mifflin, 2001). A book of oral histories, edited by Orner, Underground America: Narratives of Undocumented Lives, was published in 2008 by McSweeneys for the Voice of Witness Series. Peter is an associate professor at San Francisco State University and is currently the William Kittredge Visiting Writer at the University of Montana. Orner has also taught at Washington University, Bard College, The University of Iowa, Charles University in Prague, and in the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. A new novel, Love and Shame and Love, will be published by Little, Brown in 2011.

SARA JAFFE is a writer and musician currently living in Brooklyn. Her work has appeared in Encyclopedia, Tantalum, Fort Necessity, and Instant City. She is former guitarist for dance-damaged band Erase Errata, and is proprietor of Inconvenient Press and Recordings, a DIY purveyor of words and sounds. Under the auspices of Inconvenient Press, Sara is designing and publishing the chapbook for RADAR's first winner of the Eli Coppola Poetry Chapbook Prize.

MARISA CRAWFORD grew up in New York and Connecticut. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts and received her MFA from San Francisco State University. She lives in San Francisco where she works as a retail copy writer and joined a synchronized swimming team. Her first full-length manuscript, The Haunted House, was published by Switchback Books.

AMBER DAWN is a writer, filmmaker and performance artist based in Vancouver. She is the editor of Fist of the Spider Woman (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2008) and co-editor of With a Rough Tongue: Femmes Write Porn (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2005). Her award-winning, genderfuck docu-porn, "Girl on Girl," has been screened in eight countries and added to the gender studies curriculum at Concordia University. She has toured three times with the infamous Sex Workers' Art Show in the US. She was voted Xtra! West's Hero of the Year in 2008. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. Currently, she is the director of programming for the Vancouver Queer Film Festival.
