Annie Sprinkle & Elizabeth Stephens' ECOSEX MANIFESTO Exhibithttp://www.queerculturalcenter.org/Pages/QFest11/EcoSexual.html June 17, 18, 19 June 17, Opening Reception 7pm Have you ever wanted to hug a tree, talk dirty to a plant or be pollen-amorous? Perhaps you are ecosexual! Come find out and activate your E-Spot. At the Ecosex Symposium II, artists, academics, nature lovers, environmental activists, eco-fashionistas and other movers and shakers of this budding movement will meet to explore what it's all about. Sprinkle & Stephens kick off the weekend with an ecosexual art exhibit and reception, and present an Ecosex Manifesto. As a strategy to create a more mutual and sustainable relationship with our abused and exploited planet, and to make the environmental movement more sexy, fun and diverse, Stephens & Sprinkle are shifting the metaphor from the "Earth as mother" to "Earth as lover!" Check for gallery hours and info for Sprinkle & Stephens' Sexecological Walking Tour. Ecosexuals unite! Made possible with help from QCC and a grant from the SF Arts Commission at the Center for Sex and Culture(1349 Mission St, SF,CA) w/ Annie Sprinkle and Elizabeth Stephens.
