more details » The Last Flood Write of 2011 with Jen Cross The Last Flood Write of 2011 with Jen Cross Writing The Flood is a general-topic writing workshop, and is open to everyone, regardless of writing experience! We write together in response to exercises designed to get those pens moving, and move the stories, poems, essays, images and voices that have been stuck inside for too long onto the page.This is a time to work on a larger project, get started on new work, play on the page, or write yourself through a block and back into your writing voice. We have time for several 'writes,' and time to network over snacks and tea. At this meeting, we'll also be celebrating the close of the 2011 Writing the Flood season, with homemade treats! Once you register, we'll be in touch with the meeting location and more information; this month we will be meeting in San Francisco, a few blocks from Civic Center BART.
