Come get your style on for the Queer High Holy Days of June and discuss the history and future of fashion. Featuring Vintage Clothes and Suits, Shirts, Handmade Lapel Pins made from vintage silk ties, hanky bowties, mini hanky lapel flowers, newsie hats made with vintage suits and neckties, based on a pattern from the 1920's, and Much More! Vendors/Designers - Stafford & Shelton, Soulful Dress, Re/Dress - (Hand picked styles size L and up), KinkyCraft, and more TBA Queerture: Queer + Couture director and scholar Tania Hammidi presents Queer/Butch/Stud/Trans Fashion: Future Directions from 2 - 3pm. This presentation covers queer/lesbian masculine styles and fashion designs from past eras; looks at the current moment of design and butch/trans/stud visibility, and then opens up to a community discussion about hopes, plans, fashion design/style projects to push through to the next wave.
