Reminder: The Crackpot Crones at the Garage on Bryant @ Thu Jun 21 8pm - 9pm (Queer Things)

The Crackpot Crones at the Garage on Bryant

THE CRACKPOT CRONES are proud to present a benefit performance for The
Pat Bond Memorial Old Dyke Award as part of San Francisco's 15th annual
National Queer Arts Festival. The Crones (Terry Baum & Carolyn Myers) do
sketch comedy and improvisation. A Solstice Ritual follows the show.

In honoring Pat Bond, an important San Franciscan lesbian activist and
performer, they will perform selections from Bond's theatrical solos wherein
she became Gertrude Stein and Lorena Hickok, who was Eleanor Roosevelt's
lover.

The Crones present their own comic sketches, including "Mom
Comes Out!" Baum will tell her story, "The Night I Crashed the Castro," about
the time she forced her way onstage during her 2011 campaign for Mayor.
Both Crones improvise "Two Women Meet and a Compelling Attraction
Occurs" - with setting and characters supplied by the audience. It's a show
never seen before and never to be repeated!
