Harvey Milk Cantata premier: Lesbian/Gay Chorus of SF 34th Annual Pride ConcertIn a season finale that you won't want to miss, the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco is proud to present the "34th Annual Pride Concert," featuring the world premiere of a work composed by long-time chorus friend, Jack Curtis Dubowsky, as a joint commission of LGCSF and the choruses of Lick-Wilmerding High School. Capturing the true spirit of Pride and bringing together singers of all ages, this work pays tribute to the life and legacy of gay civil-rights leader and pioneer, Harvey Milk, through music set to his legendary and historic words. The "34th Annual Pride Concert" continues the highly popular tradition of annual collaboration with other local queer music groups and will delight audiences as part of San Francisco's 2012 Pride festivities. LGCSF's "34th Annual Pride Concert." Friday, June 22, 2012 at 7:00pm at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, 50 Oak Street @ Van Ness Street, in San Francisco. Also pre-concert talk at 6pm and second performance at 9 pm.
