Berkeley: film: Diagnosing Difference (on Trans & GID)Tuesday April 6th at 7 PM at the Pacific Center in Berkeley, there will be showing of Diagnosing Difference with a discussion afterward. Here is the movie website: http://www.gidthemovie.com/ There is limited space, so please try to let me know if you are coming as to optimize seating. Email: lost_thistime@hotmail.com There will be a few non-trans medical professionals in attendance as well. The discussion portion will however be transcentric and a "safe space" for trans people as such. Prior to the discussion ground rules will be detailed, but it is always good to remember to speak from your own experience and that there is not one way to transition or be trans. Unfortunately for this event I was unable to obtain a wheelchair accessible room. I am currently trying to change that and working with the Pacific Center so that we may switch rooms for this event or in the future have access to a space where everyone can comfortably attend. I am hoping that we may be able to move to a space downstairs, and I will update about that on Monday if so. Just to reiterate, please RSVP for this event because space is limited. Feel free to pass this on to anyone you feel might be interested, but also make sure that they know that they need to RSVP.
