Lipton and others present WERK HARD! A Drag exploration, a window into their personal processes and techniques. Perfect drag is as much a solitary practice as it is group ritual, come and be converted. Mica Phelan (Viviann ForeverMore, co creator of Tiara Sensation, SOMETHING) pairs up with Ernesto Sopprani (MCVF, 1111artgroup) to bring you an evening where performers are invited to interact as teams and take on a different creation process. Five Drag performers will present teams. Each team is responsible for the conceiving of two drag acts, which depend on and relate to one another. Performers will document their processes (via online journals, emails and video recordings). At the end of this event Drag performers and audience members will participate in a talk back.
