The Performers
Gregory Douglass will be releasing his 8th full-length, independently produced album this spring—a significant accomplishment for this highly acclaimed, 30 year-old singer/songwriter from Burlington, Vermont. OUT Magazine described him as, "Rufus Wainwright's opulent musicality and Justin Timberlake's accessible soulfulness…welcome to your new favorite singer-songwriter." Gregory actively tours the United States and has shared the stage with many artists including Shawn Colvin, Grace Potter, Anais Mitchell, Melissa Ferrick, Jason Mraz, Regina Spektor, and Margaret Cho. http://www.gregorydouglass.com/

Identical twin sisters Amanda Price and Jenni Price front Acoustic Minds--a soulful, intoxicating five-member band from Portland, Oregon. Named "Band of the Year" at the 2009 Portland Music Awards, their entrancing harmonies and driving grooves pull from a wide assortment of influences including Lauryn Hill, The Roots, Imogen Heap, India Arie, Sarah McLaughlin, Jeff Buckley, and Thievery. They are thrilled to celebrate the release of their latest album at Cafe Du Nord, where they will be burning up the stage with Indigo Girls-like power anthems, acoustic jazz/blues picking, smoldering gospel-like testifying, or sophisticated rhythms. http://www.acousticminds.com/
