Formerly a member of the The Czars, the knowledge that he was gay left Grant feeling alienated from his religious family and relying on his alcohol and drug addictions to get him day to day, and has undoubtedly been the inspiration for much of this album which has been produced alongside Texan rock band Midlake. Described as haunting but with a touch of romanticism at the same time, if you love nothing more than a singer songwriter who uses their songs as their confessional then this may well be an album worth checking out.
