What is Love Project at Ninth Street Independent Film CenterOn October 8 at 7:30pm the What is Love Project will be unveiled at the Ninth Street Independent Film Center (145 Ninth Street San Francisco, CA 94103) with a $10 suggested donation. The event will include the San Francisco premier of two short What is Love Pilms, Who Leads and Love is Not Enough, interview screenings from the What is Love Project, and a Q&A with actors, crew, and interviewees. We will be providing refreshments and entertainment in the lounge where people can discuss and help shape the project. What is Love Project's founders are Bryan Darling, a successful director (Who Leads and Love is Not Enough), Pilm editor and screenwriter, and Megan A. Vrolijk, a lecturer at UC Berkeley and the producer of Who Leads and Love is Not Enough. The What is Love Project is an online space where people from all backgrounds and experiences are invited to discuss and express their own experiences with love, intimacy, and commitment in order to cultivate a conversation about what it means to be romantically involved in the 21st century. Rather than only focusing on the articles featured in magazines such as Salon or Dan Savage's column, we hope to open up the discussion to everyday people during this instrumental period where new boundaries on relationships are being discussed. What is Love Project currently features a video interview series, curation of articles, and personal blogs. For more information, visit http://www.whatisloveproject.com
