San Francisco's favorite spot for queer and queer friendly comedy. Now at our new, big, theatrical location at 16th and Valencia! SHOWTIME: 8:00 pm Julia Jackson is a comedienne and solo artist known for her biting social commentary, as well as actually biting audience members from time to time. This rising comedy star has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and was a Semi-Finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition. Her solo performance piece "I Didn't Sign Up For This" was selected for the 2009 San Francisco Theatre Festival. Julia appeared in the film "Some Prefer Cake", and has worked with Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, and Paul Mooney. Karen Ripley: Laid back; deadpan, sometimes unsure of what's coming out of her mouth, her audiences keep coming back for more. Ripley has performed all over North America and across international waters. Silverthreads in St. Petersburg, FL had Karen back three years in a row. They couldn't get enough. Zoe Dunning: Fresh off the campaign trail, Zoe Dunning mixes cutting-edge political commentary, crazy family stories and outrageous observations on life with her audiences. One of the leaders in the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Zoe shares her first hand account of her 18-year efforts to eliminate her law and her transition to the life of a politician. Enzo Lombard has been in one form of show business or other since he was 5 years old. He has sung professionally since 7, worked in London cabaret, studied acting in both London and New York, and been a standup comedian for three years. He has written one novel and directed several documentary films. Comedian Shelley Steward, or as he is affectionately known to friends and colleagues - Shelley Steward - has been on the fringe of the humor business for about 3 years, performing in many venues. A former magician, he has been known to walk down the street and in the twinkle of an eye turn into a gay bar. In his spare time, Shelley enjoys lying in bed, making jokes at the expense of others and holding grudges. Justin Simpson, a Mimic/Impressionist from Sunnyvale, CA has been making San Francisco audiences laugh since 2009. From doing video interviews with gay porn's hottest stars, to mimicking the girls of "RuPaul's Drag Race" on YouTube, Justin offers a show not to be missed! The House of Glitter bringing sparkle to San Francisco since 2005, this multi-ethnic drag house explores the changing art of illusion. Camp Queen Landa Lakes gave birth to only a few children, but the ever expanding family tree continues to branch and sprout. The H.o.G. plays with the idea of camp, choreography, lip-sync and performance styles. While many in the family play in the clean and sober garden, these girls and boys are all out to have a good time and cause a ruckus.
