Que(e)rySF at El RioQue(e)rySF is a dance party that celebrates queer librarians and those who love them! All proceeds benefit the Center For Sex and Culture's Library Zineography project. This party was inspired by the awesome Que(e)ry New York parties that were established in 2010. DJ's: Steve Fabus (Go BANG!/UCSF Librarian) Laydown (Hard French, Dial Up/Library Worker) Sissyslap (The Handsome Young Men, Friends of Dorothy/Will wear DICTIONARY for Candy!) Literary Performances: Rhiannon Argo Raffle of new and used queer books + book bags!! Hosted by Dr Dewey Decimal, Rhiannon Argo, Kevin Coleman and Jaye Fishel. $5-7 sliding scale All proceeds benefit the Center for Sex and Culture Library and the Zineography project. This project is a community cataloging project to preserve zines that are unique artifacts of sexual and cultural heritage. Many of these zines focus on queer and gender identity, transgender culture and LGBTIQA subject matter.
