BART Accessibility Task Force Meeting"The San Francisco Bay Area regional transit system, BART, is proposing 20"-wide chairs with a middle seat divider between each pair of seats, and other less-accessible designs, for the new trains that will be in service for the next 50 years. We can influence this choice now! Please get involved... RALLY with US!! Please join us at the October Bart Accessibility Task Force meeting on Thursday October 24th 2:00pm at 101 8th Street MetroCenter, Rm 171, Oakland,CA. Now is the time to raise a public outcry about the lack of true accessibility in the new BART car design. Individuals working on this project WILL BE PRESENT at THIS MEETING. As a group we have an outstanding lawyer who will provide a strong voice of reason to match our public voice of outrage.
