more details » Suicide Prevention Workshop at LGBT Center SF Suicide Prevention is hosting a free workshop for the LGBTQ Community Thursday January 30th, 2014 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm at the LGBT Community Center 1800 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94102 The free presentation is designed to discuss how to: * Review myths and facts about suicidal ideation and depression in the LGBTQ Community * Understand more about the nature of mental health and depression * Recognize self-destructive feelings and behaviors, assess for suicidality * Gain practical information on how to feel confident speaking to others in crisis * Provide LGBTQ appropriate resources and information on how to get more help Space is limited, to RSVP email JoeP@sfsuicide.org San Francisco Suicide Prevention offers training and education on the topics of suicide prevention, crisis intervention, how to get help, and provide resources for the LGBTQ Community.
