Homo File at CounterPULSEHomo File returns to CounterPULSE for its full-length premiere as part of the National Queer Arts Festival Written, Conceived, and Directed by Seth Eisen May 30-June 15, 2014 Fri and Sat at 8pm, Sun at 7pm as part of the National Queer Arts Festival Homo File chronicles the pre-Stonewall life of queer pioneer Sam Steward: tattoo artist for the Hells Angels, friend to Alfred Kinsey and Gertrude Stein. This daisy chain of astonishing encounters with stars and studs combines theatre, puppetry, visual art and video to portray a sexual rebel who became a 20th century icon. Homo File was developed through the support of the CounterPULSE Artist Residency commissioning (ARC) Program.
