Homo File chronicles the pre-Stonewall life of queer pioneer Sam Steward: tattoo artist for the Hells Angels, friend to Alfred Kinsey and Gertrude Stein. This daisy chain of astonishing encounters with stars and studs combines theatre, puppetry, visual art and video to portray a sexual rebel who became a 20th century icon.
