WANDER THE RAINBOW – NEW TELL-ALL MEMOIR – LIFTS LID ON LIVER DONATION

AND GAY TRAVEL AWAY FROM THE 'PINK DOLLAR' TRAIL

David Jedeikin to Appear at the Historic A Different Light bookstore during San Francisco's Pride Week

San Francisco–based author David Jedeikin today announced the release of his new memoir Wander the Rainbow. A rare collision of fate renders Jedeikin the only match for his ailing boyfriend in desperate need of a new liver. The couple undergoes risky transplant surgery together – but its success doesn't keep alive their relationship, which ends soon after in heartbreak and betrayal. The experience inspires an epic seven month journey across six continents and 29 countries, uncovering unsung travel gems and hotspots in unlikely places for the gay traveler. The book will be released simultaneously in the U.S. and Canada in paperback and e-book formats.
In celebration of San Francisco's 40th Annual Gay Pride Celebration, author David Jedeikin will be appearing at the historic A Different Light bookstore, 489 Castro Street, on Tuesday, June 22 at 7:30 pm for a special reading and book signing. The event is free and open to the public but space is limited. For more information about the event and A Different Light, visit adlbooks.com.

Wander the Rainbow is available in paperback and e-book formats through Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Apple iBookstore, Smashwords and Scribd with a suggested retail price of $14.95 (paperback) and $4.99 (e-book). About the Author

From his earliest memories David Jedeikin has possessed an unquenchable thirst for world travel. In his youth he devoured classic science fiction – Robert Silverberg, Frederik Pohl, and Ursula Le Guin. Today, he counts writers of travel, philosophy, and modern life such as Paul Theroux, Bill Bryson, Douglas Coupland, and Alain de Botton among his major influences. A nomad even before his world journey, Jedeikin has lived in Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Lansing, Michigan, Chicago, and Boston. During this time he managed to organize a world-record-breaking charity telethon, co-edit a start-up Internet magazine, and serve as assistant editor on a French-Canadian-Mexican made-for-TV production of Tarzan. For the moment, Jedeikin has laid down roots in San Francisco, where he works as a software engineer, but the lure of further travel is never far from his mind.
