more details » East Bay: Shelley Doty and Andrea Prichett at Back Porch Concerts Sunday Aug 29th from 2-4 for Andrea Prichett and Shelley Doty: Andrea Prichett ( check her out on Facebook at Andrea Prichett Music): with Andrea's folk/blues style voice, her right there with you stage presence, and her powerful lyrics, Andrea is a dynamo. Many of you may know Andrea from Rebecca Riots, this time she will be playing on her own and we are really looking forward to her joining us at BPC. Shelley Doty ( http://www.shelleydoty.com ) has been labeled "a future legend" by one reviewer and a "guitar goddess" by another. However you want to think about her you're not going to want to miss this show. Back Porch Concert is a concert series featuring musicians who are some flavor of queer. The concerts are in a back yard in Oakland and the cost is a donation for $8-$20 for the musicians and/or sound techs. The concerts are brought to you by two over 40 lesbians.
