He is the author of Hammertime: Poems and Possibilities (OMAI/First Wave Press). Born and raised in Washington, DC, Healey has performed, taught, and led political workshops at universities, high schools, and conferences across the country. Speaking truth to power while inciting riots of uncontrollable joy, Healey has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, and Al-Jazeera.
