Writing The Flood- a general-topic writing workshop, open to all in OaklandWriting The Flood- a general-topic writing workshop, open to all! Join us! For anyone looking to prime the writing pump: using the Amherst Writers and Artists method, we will write in response to exercises designed to get those pens moving, and get onto the page the stories that have been stuck inside for too long. Continue working on an ongoing project, or get started on something that's been percolating for awhile. We have time for three different writing exercises, so you'll leave with fresh material. Receive feedback from peer writers about what's already strong in your new work! We will meet in Oakland near Lake Merritt we're close to Lake Merritt and 12th St BART stations, and on many AC Transit lines. Unfortunately, this is not a wheelchair-accessible space. No previous writing experience required — open to folks of all writing abilities! Fee for this workshop is $50 (with a sliding scale). Pre-registration is required- please contact Jen directly at jennifer@writingourselveswhole.org Visit us on the web for information on all of our workshops at http://writingourselveswhole.org Did you know that Writing Ourselves Whole is a not for profit organization? If you'd like to donate to help with costs as we expand our offerings and locations or to help writers without enough funds to attend please check in at the website or drop Jen a note for more information. Also gift certificates are always available just ask!
