Campfire: Eviction Ghost Stories and Other Housing Horrors at Silverstone CafeCampfire: Eviction Ghost Stories and Other Housing Horrors https://www.facebook.com/events/730582570300323/?source=1 Please join us for an evening of community stories about eviction and other housing horrors. We'll gather around a campfire to listen to and support San Francisco evictees, as they tell us spooky housing stories. 5:45pm: Patio doors open Family friendly community event. S'mores will be provided (feel free to bring more s'mores makings). An alcohol free event, please! Storytelling circle will be videotaped. We are using an old form of oral storytelling to share eviction experiences with each other. We hope the storytellers will feel accompanied by those gathered, and that there will be a little magic in the circle to help the storytellers heal some of the loss. Most importantly, we want everyone to enjoy your time there! This event is a collaboration between "Unsettlers: Migrants, Homies, and Mammas" a project by Adriana Camarena with Shaping San Francisco (partially funded by a 2013 CalHumanities Community Stories Grant), and Erin Mc El and "The Anti-Eviction Mapping Project".
