Accessible Venue. http://www.magnetsf.org Our monthly open mic night, Smack Dab, is all ages, all genders, all the time, and free. Our January 15 feature is Amsterdam Quarterly. The West Coast AQ contributors present will be Bryan Monte, Ed Mycue, Don Brennan, Tobey Kaplan, Andrea Rubin, Rink and Adam Cornford. AQ's mission is to publish, promote and comment on writing in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and the world. AQ appears tri-quarterly online at http://www.amsterdamquarterly.org and annually as a print-on-demand yearbook. AQ was founded in April 2011 and publishes drama, essays, fiction, interviews, memoirs, photography, poetry and reviews. If you'd like to perform at the open mic, please come beginning at 7:30pm and bring five minutes of whatever you want to share. Musicians: one song. Prose writers: that's about two and a half double spaced pages of prose. We're the friendliest open mic you'll find but we pay attention to time.
