Mary Anderson reverently paints those who inspire her - glitzy performers and drag queens of substance who are about visibility, activism, and social conscience work. Mary's "Glam Community Heroes", a portrait series of sparkly sculpted paintings of drag, is a testament to the strength and indefatigable affirmation of life that is present within the gay community surviving AIDS.
