Reminder: At Eros: K'vetsh queer open mic @ Sun Aug 1 7:30pm - 10pm (Queer Things)

At Eros: K'vetsh queer open mic

This Sunday we have the world-renowned queer open mic, K'vetsh, maybe you want to stop by! Two features and an open mic list, probably the naked Michael, likely a break-up poem, most assuredly some compulsive disclosing from crafters of fine, fine sentences.

Let's do it!

Your features:

Li'l Miss Hot Mess!! Since her debut at Trannyshack Star Seach in 2008, Lil Miss Hot Mess has been bedazzling San Francisco audiences with a unique blend of camp, choreography, and radical politics. Lil Miss's aesthetic is rooted in thrift store couture and the tradition of camp that seeks to expose, question, and critique, honey. She first got her feet wet as an original cast member of the NQAF favorite Hogwarts Express: The Musical!, has performed at venues from Charlie Horse to SOME THING to Homo A Go Go, and recently celebrated her "Bat Mitzvah x2" with a party that that made all the Long Island princesses jealous.

AND

Lucy Corin! Lucy Corin is the author of the short story collection The Entire Predicament (Tin House Books), which was a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award, and the novel Everyday Psychokillers: A History for Girls (FC2). Recent stories appear in Pen American and American Short Fiction. She teaches at UC Davis and just got back from a residency at Yaddo.

Hosted by each end of your big double dong, Kirk Read and Tara Jepsen.

This Sunday, August 1st. 7:30 open mic sign-ups, 8:00 show. Always on time! Open mic people are welcome to present one piece of less than five minutes, or five minutes of a longer piece. Two pieces? No. Medleys? Check with me (Kirk can't be trusted to be firm). BUT PROBABLY NOT. The admission is $3 to $5. We are comfortable saying that is an incredible deal. You must be 18 or over to regard the dong throng inside Eros. Please feel free to dress in a tiny white towel for the show. Eros is located at 2051 Market St. at 14th St. in San Francisco. There are a couple little coolers with non-alcoholic beverages for sale, including Fresca and Muscle Milk.

Love
Tara and Kirk
