Reminder: Tubesteak Connection at Aunt Charlie's @ Thu Jun 30 10pm - Fri Jul 1, 2011 12am (queerthingssf@gmail.com)

Tubesteak Connection at Aunt Charlie's

Every Thursday: Tubesteak Connection @ Aunt Charlie's Lounge. There's a new junkie on the block! Straight from the armpit of SOMA to the bowels of the TL, incorrigible retro/electro vinyl addict DJ Bus Station John ("Trash"/ "The ROD") continues the downward spiral of his career with his weekly club "The Tubesteak Connection" @ Aunt Charlies Lounge. Get liquored-up cheap ($2.50 well/beer all nite) and cruise your fellow cockgobblers, self-suckers, carpet grinders, and crotch-stuffers to the synthesized sounds of a forgotten era: late 70s/ early 80s gay bar & bathhouse hi-NRG, Eurodisco, NYC no-wave, disco rarities and more. $3.00. Calling all homos, queers, gayz, lezzies, butches, trannies, twinks, dandies, daddies, fatties, femmes, faggots and friends for a night of white hot cruising and solid gold dancing.

What started 5 years ago as a DIY dive-y dance club that felt more like a house party than a nightclub quickly became what is now one of San Francisco's most beloved and packed queer dance nights, Stay Gold.

Along with rotating guest DJs each month, residents Pink Lightning and Rapid Fire play all of your favorite gay dance jams from hip-hop to 90s. People can't help but sing along with their friends, find a hottie to make out with, or lose themselves grinding on the dance floor to hit after hit.

For five years, month after month, Stay Gold has brought together hundreds of queers and their friends for a wild time that leaves everyone wanting more. Regardless of venue, it is the faithful and adored party go-goers that make this event what it is.

Bell's Roar and Quiet Coyote at El Rio

Bell's Roar - Bell's Roar is the solo project of Sean Desiree. The music builds from its layered guitar effects, lusty beats, and crisp vocal stylings, at times, reminiscent of 1930s crooners.

Quiet Coyote
it's dancy, mathy, thick, a pack of coyotes whose call can be mistaken for a lonely banshee looking for a party on a cold desert night.
