Reminder: Transgender Parents Support Group @ Monthly from 10am to 11:30am on the third Saturday (Queer Things)

Transgender Parents Support Group

Are you a parent and are you either TS, TG, GQ, CD, MTF, FTM or gender variant? Our Family Coalition sponsors a monthly, peer-led support group for anyone falling under the transgender umbrella and is also dealing with issues of being a parent. Whether you're co-parenting, parenting solo, planning on becoming a parent or just approaching gender identity/expression issues which might affect your children, our group discusses the difficulties, complexities and joys of being a parent while also being trans. Non-trans partners of trans people are very welcome!

What day: We meet the 3rd Saturday of every month (next meeting is Saturday, June 18th).
Where: At the SF LGBT Center, 1800 Market St. near Octavia. We usually meet on the 3rd Floor in room 301 or 302 (ask at the front desk)
What time: The group meets at 10:00am and do informal introductions and talk. We start the group at 10:30 am.
Childcare: Is provided FREE by the SF LGBT Center at KidSpace on the ground floor (ask at the front desk). It's a good idea to book it ahead of time by calling Julia @ Our Family Coalition at (415) 981-1960.

Monthly from 10am to 11:30am on the third Saturday Pacific Time
