Duboce Park Café 2 Sanchez Street (Corner Duboce & Sanchez) San Francisco On Friday, June 11th, we will celebrate lesbian and bisexual authors during the annual "Betty's List" Literary Salon Anniversary Party & Book Swap at the Duboce Park Café in the Castro. Here is a special opportunity for you to meet many of your favorite lesbian authors all in one place. Among the authors confirmed to attend are Katherine Forrest, Ali Liebegott, Kit Kennedy, Katia Noyes, Z Egloff, Dr. Carol Queen and more. Kate Kilbane will also play on the sidewalk outside the café. During this event, we will host a book swap to help raise money for the RADAR Reading Series (underground + emerging writers + artists) and the queer writers' writing retreat. Please bring books to donate and you can buy others for only one dollar. Authors in attendance will also make their books available for purchase. We will round out the evening with readings of new work by some of the best talent in the lesbian and bisexual writing community. The event will occur from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 11th at the Duboce Park Café. The anniversary party is open to all lesbian authors and their fans so please share this invitation with others. Come early and enjoy the delicious foods of Duboce Park Café.
